In 2002, two women (industry pioneers since 1996) saw a direct need for a screening firm that focused on more than just making a profit-and so they created TIS.
These same two women (having collected extensive knowledge of all sides of the industry over the years) have rooted their knowledge into their team that they’ve continued to build and set the bar within the industry for compliancy, accuracy, and client care.

Our History
We are a proud member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA). All of our team members are FCRA Advanced Certified and also hold the Research Provider Certification which demonstrates an advanced expertise in the use of criminal records in the employment process and in court research & operations. We feel this investment in education sets our team above the competition and we will continue to invest in our team’s knowledge!
